Requiescat in Pace

Just over a year ago, this journal delivered its first review of Naruto 65. Now, after watching our protagonists struggle through fear, pain, and bitter hope, it's somewhat surprising to see that Naruto has now been licensed by ShoPro Entertainment. Given that the fansubs for this title were the main impetus for the creation of this site, it's only proper to call curtains and take a bow.

As a word of closing, I have to say what an *extraordinary* pleasure it was to listen to the discussions that took place here, not just for Naruto, but for other titles as well -- as a whole, we cried together when Hughes from FMA died, commiserated together when Chouji gave up his life for his friends, and laughed in relief when Naruto survived Gaara's onslaught. Within the last 12 months, we've seen incredible examples of courage, loyalty, and friendship, and it's been an *honor* to share my thoughts with each one of you.

Finally, I'd like to thank my fellow anime reviewers for the great camaraderie that we shared. Among others, I'd like to single out Athena, BluWacky, Candice, Charlie, Ender, Fencedude, Garten, Hayama, Hostile, Itsumo, Jeff, Jeni, Kabitzin, Kungfucius, Mafuyu, Matthew, Mentar, Mechazawa, Momotato, Moyism, Oishii, Reika, Richard, Satoshi, Stripey, Tempy, Ten, and Tensai11.
