Without a doubt, it is absolutely *impossible* to rationalize this series. In traditional literature, ninjas have always had an aura of high mystery and stealth, and it's quite unsettling to see a tribe of black-garbed warriors play ball, carry camera cell-phones, or imitate Jason X a la slasher-movie style.

Like Momotato points out, this series is wholly devoid of plot and character development, so I guess there's only one thing left to say. Don't watch this while eating! (^_^)
