Unfortunately, Sei's fiancee turns out to be a traitor.
Fortunately, a resident herbalist uses his powers to modify Meg's flow of "chi". And Meg subsequently beats the crap out of the enemy syndicate. The End. * * * RATING: C After seeing two episodes featuring a giant crow-man stealing girls for their lymphatic fluid, one would think that Bakuretsu Tenshi would return to showing standard cyberpunk-bounty-hunter fare. However, this is clearly circumvented in favor of absurdity, as we see the stock klutz being 'powered up' through the use of redirected 'chi' flows. As expected, it's really hard to fix an opinion on this series. On one hand, one wishes that the producers would return to writing episodes within the framework of the rather well-developed post-apocalyptic setting. However, it's quite amusing to see Meg (of all people) become wickedly powerful. In any case, it's clear that BakuTen isn't losing any of its characteristic imaginativeness.
