and plunges it into Joshua's head, turning Joshua into a powerful demon.

Rosette desperately wants to save her brother, so she asks Chrono to help her.

Truth be said, this was quite a good episode, with plenty of strong plot development and a viciously compelling backstory.

However, it's rather annoying to have a string of episodes that occur almost entirely in flashback-mode, and one hopes the series will show more action.
