Full Metal Alchemist 30May 4, 2004Title: South Headquarters Assault In this episode, the Elric brothers finally catch up with the mysterious alchemy-using Homunculi kid.
However, the alchemy-using Homunculi is quickly captured by Major Armstrong and taken to the Southern Military Headquarters. Izumi breaks into the building and rescues the child, since she has a weak spot for children.
The End. * * * RATING: C Aww, poor Edward is ignored by everyone -- Greed wants the homunculus kid, Col. Archer wants the lizard-man chimera, and Sloth wants Scar. So much for being the central character (-_^) Anyway, this episode was fairly predictable, which is quite unusual for an episode of FMA -- we finally confirmed that Izumi sacrificed her womb and that the homunculus kid can use alchemy. The latter point is rather interesting, since if the kid can use alchemy, he can create the Philosopher's Stone for the homuculi. In any case, all the action seems to be converging on the remains of the South Military Headquarters. I'm pretty sure that the Fuhrer on the scene is a transformed version of Envy (who apparently has a knack for changing into military people), so it will be quite interesting to see what direction the 'battle royale' will take and, more importantly, which party will get to keep the homuculus kid. * * * disagree? read 42 comments! * * * Related Reviews
