Title: Counterattack! The 31 Primevals!

Stallion White recruits Mamoru into the Earth Defense Front.

In the ensuing battle, the EDF is unable to attack the Primeval forces,

But they are saved by the mysterious 'white battleship'

and saves the "Mic Sounders" robots, but unfortunately, the Primevals escape in the confusion of the battle and speed down to the Earth. The End.

In retrospect, this episode was quite entertaining -- sure, the animation is pretty retro and the technicalities of the episode are questionable, but, honestly, the straightforward storyline was quite refreshing.

Although this title probably won't become a must-watch title, it's definitely worth watching sporadically, especially between mind-gobbing episodes of Peace Maker Kurogane.
