On the surface, this series seems to be fairly similar to Naruto, at least where childhood friends are forced to battle friends at the whim of adults. However, in comparison, the animation is much worse, the strategy in each battle is nearly non-existant and, quite frankly, the humor is quite stale.

Although one can say that the episode opening is rather hip, there's really nothing else to recommend.
