The End * * * RATING: B For the last five-odd episodes, the three legendary ninjas (Jiraiya, Tsunade, Orochimaru) have been discussing heavy matters individually. However, in an outstanding reversal on clan loyalties, it seems that a simple bequest is about to escalate into a full-fledged battle. From the comments of Shizune, Jiraiya is clearly convinced that Tsunade is intent on helping the evil Orochimaru. However, after the intervention of Kabuto, Orochimaru is convinced that Tsunade is instead on the side of Konoha, along with Jiraiya. While it's one matter for Tsunade to keep Shizune out of the loop, it's evidently a whole different matter to try to deceive two Hokage-level ninjas.
