The End. * * * RATING: B As accounted in forums across the world, many shonen fans share a love-hate relationship with One Piece -- some hate it for its alternative visual style and some love it because of its strong group dynamic. While both sides have valid arguments, there's no denying that One Piece has one of the most suspenseful (and catharthic) storylines ever penned. Just as pointed out in Ten's excellent review, this episode shows our heroes being confronted by impossible obstacles -- in addition to facing one of the seven *strongest* pirates in the world, they are also (1) trapped in a magical cage, (2) which is in a leaking underwater room, (3) surrounded by immense crocodiles, (4) one of which has eaten the key to the magic cage. With all due regard to Houdini, the current predicament of our heroes takes the concept of escapism to near-ludicrous levels. In any case, it's mind-bending to imagine how Sanji will save the day. There's clearly a lot of nail-biting people watching this as well, and when one couples this excellent writing with some of the best voice acting *ever*, there's no doubt that this series is just stupid good. * * * disagree? read 7 comments! * * * Related Reviews
