The End. * * * RATING: B Just as pointed out in Ten's excellent review, this series is on fire -- this episode is a prelude to the final confrontation between Luffy and the god-like Crocodile, and after *months* of anticipation, we finally see Luffy matched on equal footing. Looking back, it's amazing to see just how schizophrenic the world of One Piece is -- deep under Arabasta, we have titans battling using incomprehensible powers, while meanwhile, his crew takes down puny minions using absurdly low methods. This is all in good fun, and even given the gravity of the current situation, it's impossible not to laugh at the various directional foibles of our protagonists. As perhaps the most consistently enjoyable title of 2004, One Piece is fully in its stride, crammed with tons of action, humor, and angst.
