The End. * * * RATING: B Just as pointed in Ten's excellent review, it's rather relieving to see the Baroque Works chapter finally draw to a close. Given that this arc was over *sixty* episodes long, it seems appropriate to pay homage to such a multifarious series of events. Taken as a whole, it's impossible to deny the epic nature of this last arc -- in their quest to save Arabasta, our protagonists have battled dinosaurs in the tropics, allied with giant rabbits in the snow, and rode on giant crabs in the desert. Although it may seem anticlimactic to have these grand adventures conclude with a boisterous party, it seems quite apt in retrospect, given the low-key bonhomie of our heroes. To be sure, the struggles of the Straw Hat crew have not been in vain, and their development in power is clearly reflected not only in their solidarity, but also in their increased pirate bounties. With our heroes slipping away from Arabasta, it's easy to feel a sense of loss from the furious action in prior episodes. Nevertheless, our heroes are on to bigger and better adventures, and it's good to again accompany them on their journey. * * * disagree? read 26 comments! * * * Related Reviews
