In Dr. Kureha's Drum Island Castle, Luffy finally decides to ask Chopper the Reindeer-Man to be the doctor of his ship.

However, Chopper doesn't want to be a doctor, so he runs away. Nami asks Dr. Kureha why Chopper is so averse to this idea, and, in explanation, Kureha mentions that after being thrown out of reindeer and human society, only one person actually cared for Chopper -- the reformed-thief-turned-quack-doctor Hiluluk.

Unfortunately, although Hiluluk cared for Chopper, he decided to let Chopper go after one year . . .

and died soon after, thus causing Chopper immense emotional distress. The End.

Grr. I was *so* waiting for a Luffy-Wapol showdown, but no, what we get instead is . . . a longer version of Chopper's ep. 84 flashback. Although flashbacks are good for character development, this is way too much.

By Jove, let's get some action already . . .
