One Piece 86March 18, 2004Title: Hilukuk's Sakura and Inherited Will Ok, in the last flashback episode, the "quack doctor" of Drum Island (Dr. Hilukuk) was told by Dr. Kureha that he has only 10 days to live. The man-reindeer Chopper, an old protege of Hilukuk, overhears this and decides to look for a mushroom called the Amiudake that he believes can save Hilukuk. So, in this episode, Chopper searches the whole country for this rare mushroom, and, after hours of grueling travel, presents the rare Amiudake to Hilukuk.
When he sees Chopper with the mushroom, Hilukuk is overjoyed, since he hasn't seen Chopper for nearly a year. After treating Chopper's wounds, Hilukuk hears that the twenty elite doctors of the country are all sick, and goes to King Wapol's court to try to heal them. However, after Hiluluk gets to the capitol, he is surrounded by soldiers. Hiluluk realizes that he was tricked, and, after expressing no regrets, commits suicide.
After watching his old master die, Chopper returns to Dr. Kureha and begs her to make him a doctor so he can save the country, as Hilukuk wanted to do.
