When Parappa the Rapper first made its debut on the Playstation in 1997, it was crammed with style and single-handedly created the rhythm game genre. However, the namesake anime title that followed it is utterly *devoid* of any worth whatsoever.

Words cannot express how egregiously bad this series is. One would expect that this work would focus on the well-developed music component within the original game, but instead, we're presented with a flaccid plot, horrendous voice acting, and appalling graphics.

In retrospect, it is amazing how such an atrocious load of tripe percolated into the domain of public television.
