Cold

Just had a snowstorm in Urbana, so spent time setting up beds in the hospital so that people without homes could have a place to stay overnight -- it was really cool to talk with the people coming in and help out with getting adequate food / water (warm fuzzy feelings!)

In med school, had a chance to formally round on my first 'real' patient in the hospital floors -- it was much nicer than I expected, and I had a wonderful time talking to both the patient and his family. R. & I put together a 'thank-you' certificate to give to patients, which turned out well:
