Going Purple

Woo -- good news! I just got accepted into a summer medical clerkship at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine! I'm rather proud of this achievement, since the merit-based clerkship competition was quite tough, but now that the acceptance letter is in hand, I'm just wicked happy. My big sister is actually doing her MD/PhD at Northwestern, so it'll be rather odd to be stepping on her home turf, but Northwestern has some of the best hospitals in the nation, so I'm really looking forward to learning a lot :)

Anyway, not much else to note -- finally finished the M2 history & physical exam course yesterday with high marks (*phew!*) and will be going to the military VA hospital today, which is around a 45 minute drive each way (woo for field trips!)
