White Coat Ceremony

Ha, just got pictures back from the white coat ceremony! At UIUC, the white coat ceremony is held right after medical students move away from classroom stuff (i.e. learning pharmacology, pathology) and into the hospital (i.e. interacting with patients). I was actually really looking forward to this ever since I joined the MD/PhD program and muscled through the PhD, so I was really happy that Mum, Dad, and Amy came along. Anyway, here's my mentor coating me, with Dr. S standing beside,

and . . . *ding*, Cloak of White (+2, cold-resistance) is on! Woot!

I guess having a long white coat (see mentor) is more spiffy than my short coat, but anyway, am *so* glad to have come this far :)
