New Year

Wow, long-overdue post, but thanks to all for the well-wishes for 2009! It is amazing how quick time flies by -- I can't believe that I'm nearly done with U of I's MD/PhD program -- just a year left! Geez, it seems like yesterday when I was reviewing anime with the awesome Kabitzin. I've already started scheduling away rotations for residency, and it seems like all these years of hiding from the 'real' labor force will soon come to an end (no more free food and sleeping in lab T_T).

Anyway, nothing much to write about now, am having a blast on clinical rotations, and am really enjoying being paired up with great friends in the hospital -- it is most excellent to have someone watch your back in case there's a rapid influx of patients on the wards. I've also been quite enjoying some of the new jpop stuff that's coming out -- props to Divine for the excellent post, but Stereopony has a bunch of singles that are impressively catchy -- I've included one below for your viewing pleasure.
