CounterStrike Neo

Just a quick note in passing, but the excellent PixelKill noted that an *arcade* version of Counterstrike is available in Japan. (More screenshots, wierd story mode info)

Supposedly, the arcade version pits a cyborg faction against the military (which is quite cool), but one wonders how an arcade-based system can compensate for the lack of the standard WASD-mouse input layout, especially in maps where accurate sniping is paramount to success (i.e. de_dust)

PS: In ancillary news, this IRC remix of World War II is rather amusing -- I couldn't stop laughing when this line came up:
