Ovations!

Ha! Yet another belated update! I have been largely sessile this week, but a number of my friends have been going out and changing the world! So, without further ado, mad props to the unbelievably awesome Damon, who will be presenting his research at a conference in Australia *clap clap clap*

Secondly, mad props to T., who earned a black belt in tae kwon do on Saturday! T. is one of the smartest people I know (also a second-year MD/PhD student) and is incredibly nice to boot, so it was lots of fun to hang out / have dinner together with T.'s family (far right):

    

Lastly, massive kudos to the awesome S. (also an MD/PhD student), who did an incredible performance of classical dance at ISA's Diwali night! Amazingly enough, even though the ISA composite had just eight acts, S. was the only person selected to do a solo performance, so mad congrats goes to her! *clap clap clap*
