Pre-Thanksgiving Parade

Hehe, went yesterday with J. and A. to the 'Lighting of the Magnificent Mile' Festival! It was quite mild outside and we ended up right next to the Chicago River, so had a most excellent time watching the parade, floats, fireworks, and ice sculptures!

Anyway, was really fun -- more extraneous pictures of grotesquely large Disney figures and people dancing in the streets below. K. keeps on joking about this, but there really is something heartwarming about blatant commercialism (yessss for merchandising)

    

In any case, shall be going out this *entire* week to museums / various attractions around Chicago -- I actually brought my med school BRS review stuff home, but I'll be surprised if the book spines are cracked open even once (^_^)
