Back in Grad School

Ho ho ho! It's time for another (monthly?) update!

This is just a note to my fellow grad students, but it is *amazing* how much more relaxing it is to be a 2nd-year student as opposed to a 1st-year student (*perfectly* captured in this PhDComics strip) -- my slacking-no-jutsu abilities are more potent than ever (bwah hah ha!)

Anyway, I have my quals coming up (fum fum fum), so wish me luck! I ought to do fine, but just in case, I shall use my l33t Markov simulations to distract all and sundry!
